Driving maneuvers

Vehicle system tests will be performed with the help of specific driving maneuvers. Processes and tools that have been developed specifically for this purpose help us to present clear test results.

There are four different types of tests, which have proven to work:

1. Commissioning of vehicles, i.E.: new constructions and productions of vehicles with new components and software versions.
2. Speedy system testing: Cecking the core functions of the systems and critical functionality, i.E. preparation of testing activities with different developer statuses, new software releases.
3. Full system testing: Complete system verification as part of the system release.
4. System delta testing: Extensive system verification of all changed functions – in addition to a defined minimum range, i.E.: testing on security-critical functions of a changed function in a minimum dimension.

Our specific driving maneuvers have the following objectives:

• Preparation and organisation of all test results to release the system.
• Support the variant-specific testing to minimize test efforts.
• Presentation of the test progress over time.
